Easy cookie treats for parties

So my Mom was playing around using those thin chocolate wafers like the ones Nabisco makes melting the York Peppermint patties and Snickers peanut butter candy squares. They are some very tasty treats quickly made.

Basically you take a 12oz bag of the small York peppermint patties (Not the larger patties from the candy bar aisle.) and/or a few packages of the Snickers peanut butter squares.

First unwrap the York patties and place on plastic wrap on paper plate 5 at a time melting in a microwave for only 10 seconds. Then place a single wafer on top of each patty and gently flip the plate over.  Peal the plastic off and gently place another wafer on top and press down using three fingers gently so as to not break the cookies.

For the peanut butter squares and slice in half (through the middle keeping the square shape) then do the same with the squares as with the patties although the snickers will not squish as much as the York patties as they have peanuts in them so be careful to be too rough.

Let cool and serve. We thought about dipping in chocolate but they tasted so nice and not overly sweet we decided they were just fine as is.
